After enjoying breakfast, you will start your journey towards Prayagraj which is around 2-3 hours ride, historically known as Allahabad. This sacred city is where the Saraswati River is believed to merge with the Ganga and Yamuna, forming the renowned Triveni Sangam. With a history spanning nearly three millennia, Prayagraj has played a vital role in both cultural and political movements, particularly during India’s struggle for independence.
Today, Prayagraj thrives as a dynamic province, blending heritage with modernity. The contrast between its tree-lined boulevards and the bustling old city adds to its unique charm. During your visit, you can explore the historic Allahabad Fort, built in 1583, and admire the famous Ashokan pillar, which was transported from Kaushambi.
Take a holy dip in the triveni Sangam and visit the famous sites in Prayagraj like Hanuman Mandir, Mahadeshwari Shakti Peeth, Anand Bhawan, Nehru Museum, etc
